Some of My Story
Is there a way to express in words how excited & happy I am to be here with you during one of the most profound times in human & planetary history? Yes, there is much that is happening to us & our planet that is absolutely terrible, no doubt, but the question is how are each of us going to handle it & what can we do to help? I was a Philosophy professor for almost 15 years, FT the last 5 years leading up to Spring 2021 when I decided to follow my heart, leave academia & be the evidential medium I am. Having a calling as a medium is about healing, it is about helping others, it is about love & evidence that life goes on after physical death. It is about communicating with loved ones across the veil & much more. We have real souls & we are all made of LOVE. There is plenty of real science about evidential mediumship, trance channeling & spirit photography, transfiguration & more. All of which I can demonstrate & that I use to help others connect to Source & their loved ones.
I have always had various types of supernatural (supernormal) & psi experiences since birth, having my first NDE (I am told) on the day I was born. At 5 years old, I had an experience with a past life memory of being a professional baseball player in my most recent life. Under a past life regression hypnosis session with Scott de Tamble (CA), I discovered more about this baseball life. As I grew older, I continued to have multiple supernormal experiences, often discussing them with or "reading" for friends, family & strangers. I also always tried to get my philosophy mentors to discuss these topics & real experiences of the Greater Reality for years & will continue to do so in my own ways.
My undergraduate philosophy thesis in 1998-99 was on the aesthetic theory of Martin Heidegger, AI, fractal geometry & human intuition. My Master's thesis in 2002-04 was on the philosopher Henri Bergson's Matter & Memory (& the fact that human consciousness has the property of extension), human intuition (again), synchronicity & more. By the time I was a doctoral student in philosophy, I was carrying around Plato & Spinoza as much as the biographies of Edgar Cayce & Peter Hurkos, well known American mediums of the past century. Edgar Cayce visits from time to time & helps with this work. In 2021, I studied with the Arthur Findlay College in the UK in a 2 day workshop for advanced mediums. I began ORB MAGIC LLC in 2021, but the name will change of my practice in 2024. My client testimonials speak for themselves, as my student evaluations had before. This work is about the loving, healing, joyous connections made with Source & the peace of mind for clients/sitters knowing that biological death is not a final end, not in the least. That we all will see our loved ones again & that we should not fear physical death. Free will is real & is natural law. This can be proven.

Since 2007, I have been aware of spirit ORBS in photographs, or what physicist Dr. Klaus Heinemann & his research partners call "spirit emanations" in their amazing work THE ORB PROJECT. The orbs exploded for me in almost all my photos in 2011. The orbs appear on film with repeatability & you can learn how to get them too! They respond to requests often & this can also be proven with witnesses. I gave a talk on the spiritual phenomena at the 5th annual Exploring the Extraordinary conference in the UK in 2011 & more recently with the Friends of IANDS in December 2020 (although hesitating to say I felt they were spirits at the time). I then presented on the orbs live at the annual IANDS Conference in SLC September 2022. Many orbs appeared for us all in the room at the presentation.
In early 2021, I decided to start NEW chapters, leaving my 65K/yr position & my profession as a professor who was about to be more on the TT path. I left academia for good as of Summer 2021. I was living in Warren, RI near the burial grounds of Yellow Feather. This detail would become more significant than I could have ever predicted but not until I left RI for Cleveland, OH that year! I had been teaching many courses for Roger Williams University FT for several years & publishing with other philosophers (see American Philosophical Association Blog, Routledge Press, or AEON virtual magazine for more ). I miss teaching & the students, but the work I do as a medium is just as valuable & infinitely rewarding. It's a part of my soul's path & I love my new chapters! I began more of my mediumship training before leaving academia Spring 2021 in a workshop for advanced mediums with UK trance medium Robin Hodgson & the Spiritualist Church of Chicago. I then had a powerful 1-1 reading with Suzanne Giesemann in Spring 2021 after meeting Suzanne personally in August 2019. Her trance team, Sanaya (which includes the philosopher William James by the way) helped me know where I was headed next, to stand firm in who I know I am & what I can do as a medium & that I would be publishing books on spirit photography & "spheres of light." They also told me, as has Sir Winston Churchill in Direct Voice through the medium & my friend Warren Caylor, that I am truly misunderstood & to keep going, to not give up!
I moved to NE Ohio by late Spring 2021 & was supported to start my private practice by many. I used some retirement to sign up for more advanced mediumship workshops after having also practiced with other seasoned evidential mediums & to write those books on spirit photography. In the past two years, I have grown Orb Magic LLC & as an evidential mental & physical trance medium. The transfiguration sessions & photography began in January 2022. Most importantly, I have helped many connect with their loved ones "across the veil." There are a few podcasts about these new chapters on Spotify & on my website, including interviews with world renowned mental & physical mediums Kai Muegge (Germany) & Allison DuBois of the TV series MEDIUM (United States), as well as Tania Berg of Life Continuing podcast & with my medium mentor of over a decade, Kathleen Cotter Lloyd. I end Season 2 of the podcast with an interview with Camille & Aaron Dan (who is in Spirit) & with a channeling with some of my spirit guides through another established trance channel medium. The new season 3 opens with an interview with author Mark Gober & includes a chat with Shannon Taggart of the amazing spirit photography book SEANCE & more!
My mental mediumship turned into trance channeling (unexpectedly) in 2021 & I made the choice to pursue physical mediumship (spirit photography is also a type of physical mediumship) with the help of other professional mediums & with the utmost gratitude, such as physical phenomena mediums Mychael Shane & Warren Caylor (sat with both in over a dozen seances now). I was given helpful notes of support & guidance from physical mediums Stewart Alexander, Kai Muegge, Deborah Lynn Katz, Julie Adreani & Isabelle Duchene. I have witnessed & received direct apports from the Ascended Masters through physical mediums Bill Boldt & Mychael Shane, some of which I am to use to "continue your progress as a physical medium." In April 2022, I had the humble, beautiful experience of "sitting in the cabinet" for the first time with Mychael Shane & Julie Adreani in Chicago. An honor. I highly recommend others take courses or have readings with Mychael, Julie, Warren Caylor, Gary Mannion, Kai or Scott Milligan, not to mention experience their seances if possible! The new organization VERYSOUL has been vetting evidential mediums all of 2022 to present (verysoul.com). They are a major part of the paradigm shift! I have been practicing with VerySoul since April '22 clocking over 100 practice hours & counting with other evidential mediums. I also practiced successfully & helped several connect to loved ones across the veil, as they say, for 2 weeks at Wonewoc Spiritualist Camp in Wisconsin. A hidden gem for sure, but a place I had to move on from. I do not subscribe to any religion, but I do support all loving, healing, joyous, sublime forms of spiritual growth.
In several group physical phenomena healing gatherings, as well as private readings in 2021, I was told to not let those who misunderstand me stop me, to keep pushing forward no matter what with this work, to continue to believe in myself & how I can help others as an evidential trance channel medium. All of this is about love & much more than just language or any philosophical system or theory. I was told to remain as humble & peaceful as possible & to work on learning from & melding with the Ascended Masters. I work on this daily.
As a former philosophy professor & forever a student (MA West Chester University 2004, PhD Duquesne University 2015), I have studied, thought about & taught some of the greatest thinkers & systems, East & West, from Plato & Empedocles to Spinoza & William James. I had much success & plenty of failures on my journey. Having survived the incomprehensible (more than once) & many challenges in this life, including becoming a philosophy professor with several learning differences that have only recently started to be understood by specialists, I am ready to be more of myself as an evidential medium & help as many as I can, to be used by Source for good. Here's the best part: Anyone can access their own supernormal abilities with intention, patience, love & understanding! Just look at all the amazing work now being done through places like Helping Parents Heal or IONS, as other great examples. This is not only about giving people "hope," although we do that too. It is about legitimately & evidentially providing substantial connections between the material world & higher spiritual dimensions where human souls live on with free will after biological death with love & understanding.
We are living through an awakening, a paradigm shift (and Thomas Kuhn knows what those require, it will take some time), with many credible sources, including peer reviewed scientific experiments on psi abilities. Yet, I did not get here alone. I had infinite support over the years in so many ways. I went from a full time academic position in a beautiful location with some great colleagues & students, a wonderful cottage on the ocean in Warren, Rhode Island & a career taking off after many years of struggle, work & growth, to knowing I had to be more of my medium self somehow, some way. I know who I am, even with all my learning differences as challenges. I will continue to prove & improve who I am & help others connect to loved ones in Spirit. We all have FREE WILL, it is natural law & it stays with us after we cross over too. Thoughts really do create reality, but how we feel is where the real force is. We are ALL made of ENERGY & LOVE. There is ample credible evidence for life going on after physical death, but experiencing it for yourself, such as in a physical phenomena manifestation healing gathering or in a loving, evidential, beautiful mediumship reading can be absolutely life altering. This work is about LOVE. Just listen to the channeled messages of Lee Carroll & his group Kryon (similar to Suzanne Giesemann's group Sanaya) for more after 33 years of messages. Some will call me "crazy" for new reasons now. You cannot control the perceptions or opinions of others. It does not matter how large your group is. We all have real souls with free will & we are made of truth, beauty & goodness. We are all connected. Learning & understanding are infinite.
I left a solid career in Philosophy so I could assist others with healing from grief, continued understanding & learning about orb spirit emanations. I made the changes for love, including self love & awareness, for even more learning & healing. I turned the page for more freedom & to use my gifts to help others heal, connect to their post-material loved ones in beautiful encounters between two worlds. With wonder, creativity & care, may we all open up more to the Truth of the Greater Reality. There are no secrets with Spirit, but there is also no judgment. All is love & learning & soul progression. All is continued understanding. All is about learning & connection, but the spirits & our higher self (our main spirit guide) also love to experiment too!
